In 2005 manufacturers claimed that the CCR is the fastest road car in the world. The car achieved its official top speed record 387.37 Km/h(240.7mph) in February 28, 2005. While its theoritical top speed were 394.2 km/h (245 mph). This record is beaten officially by Bugatti Veyron in 2010 with a speed of 431 Km/h.
